I'm not too good at creating graphics for web pages, OK to be honest I'm hopeless, rubbish, c**p :o
Does anyone have any links to good web tutorials (text or video) or know of a decent book or two? I have Photoshop Elements 8 but am prepared to use something else if that is recommended.

Can't post the wallpaper for obvious reasons. I used a right click to cover the area :D. Also, I am a photographer so please excuse the icons labeled "nude, schoolgirl,suicidegirls, etc. :o) ) If anyone is interested, I have 1080p of the wallpaper that I can email. PM me your email address.

That's not true - the change is not made in the rate plan section of the website. It's in the "manage features" section.

for all i know the icons are put in place by the application that creates them. i think you would need to hack each specific application.

They NEED 2 versions of iCade - one with joystick, the other with a Trackball and Knob... ;)
100% agree. I've seen some of those self contained TV video games that are basically a joystick with RCA cables coming out the back that have a combo joystick & paddle - the joystick rotating to be the paddle. Never tried it though. (I think it was the Pole Position one.)
But not being able to spin the knob on Tempest looses some of the nostalgia for me too.

Given the length of the original message and the terseness of Jobs' reply, it suggests that either he doesn't give a crap, or the iPad's virtual keyboard is a bit pants to type on.
Or he was in the middle of a game of angry birds and decided to just send a quick reply so he could try and finish the level which he can't get 3 stars on

safari needs a little work on it. Right now I prefer Firefox because of the tabbed window function and even more so because i can add search engines within the same window, such as google, yahoo, amazon, ebay, IMDB and webster dictionary.

I got a chance to shoot a BMW Z4. I'm having a hard time editing the photos as the black just looks "crushed"? I'm not sure how to explain what I'm trying to say but I critique my photos a lot so basically I think this photo sucks but the owner thinks its good.

I get what you're saying. Deep, dark black, with no metallic flake in it is probably very hard to photograph well. It masks a lot of the subtle lines of the car (which a Z4 has a lot of) that would normally show with lighter, more reflective colors. I like the shot, but I do see what you are bugged with.

i would say yes as the other day i read about it somewhere but i cant remember where that was. i will think and get back but i know that you can! have a look on the griffin technology (http://www.griffintechnology.com) or even ipod lounge (http://www.ipodlounge.com) as that has everything ipod!

12 Petabytes doesn't seem like all that much. I have a 2TB drive sitting on my desk, and this would be like 6,000 of my drives. Doesn't seem like that much when you think about the amount of customers they are likely to be serving.

While watching the keynote stream. I was shocked to hear "security sperms" in the keynote stream. Tune in at 5:40 and you'll hear it. Very funny!

I just hope there is some mention of this at next month's rumored iOS 5 developer media event. I've wondered off and on how :apple: would distinguish and bring their own mapping application to iOS devices (and possibly Macs) apart from Google Maps. Graphically and for overall user experience, I much prefer Google Maps over Bing Maps, MapQuest, and the like. Just hope :apple: will bring something stronger and more robust than Mountain View.
