For those who applied for EAD using eFile, please post information on supporting documents you sent.
Any other info on post-eFile of EAD is welcome.

Prepared the following documents today along with a cover letter -
Copy of the Confirmation Receipt notice
Copy of Current EAD (Front & Back)
Copy of I-485 receipt
Copies of I485 Case Transfer notices if any
Copy of Cut out mailer of previous EAD Approval.
Copy of I-94
Copy of Passport (which has Bio-graphic data)
Copy of Drivers License
Important: YOU DONT HAVE TO SEND PICTURES
I intend to send mine and my spouse's documents seperately.
Update: Got my receipt (and my spouse's) from TSC today. (Exactly after a week).

I also called the number 202-224-7703. The lady told me that, it is scheduled for hearing this fall and we can check on Website judiciary.senate.gov . She said, usually they post the date, 1 week before the hearing in the committee. She is also told that, she is going to pass on the message for hearing, to the senators.

This bill was introduced last congress too...nothing happened.

My only conern is about I-94. When ever we renew the h1b we get new I-94 but in this instance my I94 got expired do i need to get new I94? if yes how can I get?

You will be considered as an eligible non-citized once you have used your Advance Parole (obtained by filing I-131) to return to US after foreign travel. Your I-94 will have a parolee stamp, and you will need to submit that to the financial aid department of your school in proof of your "Eligible Non-citizen" status.
Once you have the parolee stamp on your I-94, file FAFSA online and your school will be notified as soon as they process your application. You will then contact the financial aid department at your school and submit a copy of your parolee stamped I-94. The process was very easy and quick at Arizona State University for my spouse.

The USCIS PDF for I-693 (http://www.uscis.gov/files/form/I-693.pdf) says "OMB No. 1615-0033; Expires 06/30/07" at the top of the form. At the bottom it says "Form I-693 (Rev. 09/16/05) Y". Will we be able to submit this form if we get the medical exam done now and file it with the I-485 on July 1 or later?
I found another version of the PDF which says "OMB No. 1615-0064; Expires 05/31/08" at the top and "Form I-693 (Rev. 09/16/05) N" at the bottom. I've only found this at these sites:

Last week I had the unfortunate experience of being "let go". This is my current situation:
EB-2 India PD July 2008
I-140 approved in April 2009
Currently on 7th year of my H1-B which is valid till May 2013.
Now the question I have is, if I were to transfer my H1-B visa to some other company (non consulting fulltime role), will I get an additional 3 years extension, i.e., till Oct 2013 or will it be only till May 2013?
Greatly appreciate any thoughts here. Thanks!

Don�t worry. You will be in a good shape if you had your AP. I just came back from France and Switzerland. Both countries gave me Visa on AP, employment letter. The process was lot smoother than I expected. I will recommend that go ahead and apply..notthing to loose.

NSC received my application July 2nd (concurrent filing 485/EAD/AP..)
1. When do the 90 days wait start counting? From July 2nd? (that would mean I should receive my EAD by 1st October.
2. I read walk in centers is a service not provided by USCIS anymore. However, cannot find conclusive information (many people say they still do). What will happen then after the 90 day period? How can I get my interim EAD if it does not arrive on time?

Have you sent the renewal papers to the right location? If not, after Mar 26th receive date, the applications will be sent back to the applicant - to be sent to the correct lock box.

There is always a calculated risk in extending I-94. No one can predict the outcome of this process. Personally, I would not do it.

in this environment where jobless rate is pushing 10%, i.e., one in ten Americans is without a job! Not trying to be negative here, just reconciling with the present reality and trying to re-adjust my expectations. Just have to hope that the economy picks up steam next year and optimism returns.
