Drag the .app to the trash. Don't use cleanmymac, appzapper, appcleaner or any crap like that.
Ugh, I just bought CleanMyMac. Could you elaborate more why these products are bad to use? Thanks
Nevermind: I see someone just addressed my question as I was posting.

I've structured the WorldEdit talk page to allow for nominations. This allows everyone (including unregistered users) to make them. Tuesday sounds good to me, although we might have to delay it a bit this week.

I have a Blue/white G3 at home and I need to upgrade, but can't afford to get what I would really like (a G5). I have 21" apple monitor, keyboard and mouse. And, I use all the graphics software: Quark, Photoshop, Illustrator, etc. Does anyone think this the lowest model of the mini macs is a good purchase for a couple of years? I know it will be out of date quicker than some of my other options. But, my monitor is really good, so I think I shouldn't go the emac or imac route. Any suggestions or thoughts out there? I appreciate it.
I have a Mini, and I love it. I am not a graphics guy, and can't attest to the Mini's power at photoshop, but I do push the Mini to it's limits from time to time. I would sugest going to the Apple store and using one to see if it works for you. I'm not sure what the specs are for your G3 Video card, but this is the only Achiles heal to the Mini. It sounds like the new units are shipping (soon, if not now), and I think they have upgraded video cards. This might be just what you need (until you can save $$ for a PM). If you buy the Mini, beef up the RAM- it makes such a difference in performance.

I love my iPad beyond belief, but buying another one (at least before the second gen comes out) is an epic waste of money.
I agree, I'll only buy the second if the first one gets stolen or damaged otherwise I am happy with it not matter what new features gets added in the later versions.

I concur, external is the way to go. Dlink and others make some relatively inexpensive external enclosures that can hold 2, 4 or more drives, depending on your budget; you buy your own drives, whatever size you want, say 2x2TB drives and configure the enclosure (not all do this) with RAID 1, that way you have redundancy if one drive fails. This is what I would suggest you look into, its not that expensive and provides lots of space and protection from drive failure. Most of these enclosures are USB, some, usually more expensive, offer firewire or network connectivity.

NAS noob question now.
how do you transfer files between folders and drives etc?
i think thats whats putting me off is ease of file management
Ooh thats an interesting question, that you would think simple to answer. NOT!
So lets say you have the NAS with 4 internal drives and say an external off usb.
The 4 drives will typically be in an array, so one protected filesystem. Off this you can have one or more network shares using this one filesystem, each can be restricted user/pc access and can have a usage limit set.
External drives are seperate filesystems so a network share would normally need to be set up to show the contents of the external on the network.
So we end up with something like:
Internal 4 drives = Filesystem 1 = Network share 1
External 1 drive = Filesystem 2 = Network share 2
So say you had a file on the external and you needed it on Filesystem 1?
Option1: mount both network shares from your PC and copy from 2 to 1. SlOW
Option2: SSH onto the NAS (It's just a linux server) and type cp /filesystem2/filename /filesystem1 (Eveything is copied locally on the NAS, you're well l33t now)
Option3: SSH onto the NAS and create a softlink connecting the external drive as a folder under Filesystem1. ie. ln -s /filesystem2 /filesystem1/External (External drive will appear as a folder under the Network share 1 , now you are super l33t, proceed to IT godlyness)
Option4: Setup RTRR (real time rsync replication) the qnap NAS' can have jobs set up to replicate between filesystems. (Not as l33t, but everything is duplicated nicely)
3 Means that everything will appear under 1 big filesystem. 4 means you do it once and then never repeat it. Moving files under 1 or 3 from a pc will result in a lot of network traffic.

My brother lost his original iPhone 4 last week, and the insurance replaced it.
I just bought a white iPhone (even though I have a black one & hate white). The reason is due to its greatly improved new antenna. The white is thicker due to the improved antenna.
When compared to the brand new black one my brother got, the white is far better. The difference is so dramatic, nothings been changed on the Antennagate black phone. That's a total shame.
I was shocked, yet happy I could finally buy an iPhone 4 I'm happy with. One that has a good useable phone that doesn't drop calls or break up.
My black Speck Pixel Skin case fits good since it was a bit loose on my black one.
I'm so relieved and happy to have a great iPhone now.

A brash thing to say! I'm expecting this to be an inch shy of perfect now.
You should know - nothing is perfect. To expect as much will only lead to dissapointment. ;)

Sorry, America. Florida specifically if that matters.
Also, if its a carrier other than at&t, can you specify whether it will work out of the box, or if I'll need to jailbreak or unlock it.
